YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty was arrested in Miami Beach on Saturday, November 15, 2025, facing multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer without violence.
The arrest occurred around 3:12 a.m. when Miami Beach Police observed Doherty and a group entering the roadway on the 700 block of Washington Avenue. Doherty positioned himself in the middle of the street, obstructing traffic to film social media content, creating a significant safety hazard. Despite multiple commands from officers and urgings from his group to comply, Doherty refused to leave the roadway, stating, "Once I'm done with this bet." Consequently, officers apprehended him for his deliberate refusal to follow lawful orders.
During a search, officers found half of an orange oval-shaped pill imprinted with "3," consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine, and a black plastic container holding three hand-rolled suspected cannabis cigarettes weighing approximately 4.0 grams combined. Doherty was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with his bond set at $3,500.
Prior to his arrest, Doherty had been livestreaming from a yacht in Miami, sharing content on the app Parti. Known for his stunt and prank videos, Doherty has amassed over 15 million YouTube subscribers, 10 million TikTok followers, and 3 million Instagram followers.
This incident adds to Doherty's history of controversial events, including a livestreamed McLaren crash in October 2024, which led to a temporary ban from the streaming platform Kick.
As of now, Doherty's representatives have not publicly commented on the arrest.
