Outer Worlds 2 Release Time

The Outer Worlds 2 is set to release today, October 29, 2025, at 10 AM PDT (1 PM EDT) across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Players who purchased the Premium Edition have had early access since October 24. The Premium Edition includes up to five days of early access, a DLC Pass for two future story expansions, the Moon Man's Corporate Appreciation Premium Prize Pack, and access to the digital artbook and soundtrack.

The Outer Worlds 2 introduces a third-person perspective, a feature added in response to fan feedback. The game is set in the Arcadia star system, where players assume the role of an Earth Directorate Agent tasked with uncovering the source of rifts threatening the colony amidst a factional war.
