Orlando Weather: Unseasonably Cold Snap Hits Central Florida
As of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Orlando is experiencing unusually cold temperatures due to a powerful Arctic air mass affecting much of the eastern United States. The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for Central Florida, including Orlando, effective from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Overnight lows are expected to be in the 30s, with wind chills making it feel as low as 25°F.
This cold snap is part of a broader weather pattern bringing some of the coldest autumn temperatures yet in 2025 to the region. The National Weather Service has forecast record lows for the Southeast, including Florida, which saw temperatures near 80°F just a day before.
Residents and visitors are advised to dress warmly and take necessary precautions against the cold. Additionally, Universal's Volcano Bay water park will be closed on November 10 and 11 due to the cold weather.
