Jack Doherty Arrested in Miami on Drug Possession and Resisting Arrest Charges

YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested in Miami Beach early Saturday morning on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer without violence.

The incident occurred around 3:12 a.m. when Doherty allegedly entered the roadway in the 700 block of Washington Avenue to film content, obstructing traffic and creating a safety hazard. Despite multiple commands from officers to exit the roadway, he refused, stating, "Once I'm done with this bet!"

Upon his arrest, a search revealed half of an orange, oval-shaped pill marked "3," consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine, and a black plastic container containing three hand-rolled suspected cannabis cigarettes.

Doherty was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center with a bond set at $3,500.

Miami Beach Police emphasized their commitment to public safety, stating they will "continue to take proactive enforcement action against behavior that endangers residents, visitors, or officers and will hold all individuals accountable under the law."

Doherty, known for his stunt and prank videos, has over 15 million YouTube subscribers and millions of followers on other social media platforms.

Prior to his arrest, Doherty had been livestreaming from a yacht in Miami Beach, though it's unclear if this activity was related to the incident.

This arrest adds to Doherty's history of controversial incidents, including a 2024 crash of his $200,000 McLaren during a livestream.
