YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty was arrested in Miami Beach on November 15, 2025, facing multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer without violence.
According to Miami Beach Police, the 22-year-old was taken into custody early Saturday after officers observed him disrupting traffic to allegedly film social media content. Doherty reportedly entered the roadway, creating a significant safety hazard, and refused multiple commands from officers to exit the street. Even after warnings that non-compliance would lead to his arrest, he continued to refuse, stating, "Once I'm done with this bet." Subsequently, officers apprehended him in the middle of the road.
During a search, officers found half of an orange oval-shaped pill imprinted with "3," consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine, and a black plastic container holding three hand-rolled suspected cannabis cigarettes weighing approximately 4.0 grams combined.
Doherty was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center just before 9 a.m. on Saturday. His bond was set at $3,500, which, as of now, remains unpaid.
Prior to his arrest, Doherty had been livestreaming on the app Parti and shared clips of himself aboard a yacht in Miami Beach. It is unclear whether the livestream or the outing played any role in the incident.
Jack Doherty is known for his stunt and prank videos, boasting over 15 million subscribers on YouTube, more than 10 million followers on TikTok, and over 3 million followers on Instagram.
The Miami Beach Police Department emphasized their commitment to maintaining public safety and order, stating that they will hold all individuals accountable under the law, regardless of celebrity status.
As of now, there has been no public statement from Doherty or his representatives regarding the arrest.
