 
    Brennan Marion, a former standout wide receiver at the University of Tulsa, has rapidly ascended the coaching ranks in recent years. After serving as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 2023 to 2024, he was appointed as the head football coach at Sacramento State in December 2024.
During his tenure at UNLV, Marion's innovative "Go-Go Offense" propelled the Rebels to a 19-8 overall record and two bowl game appearances. In the 2024 season, UNLV's offense ranked 14th nationally, averaging 36.2 points per game—a school record. The team also averaged 251.2 rushing yards per game, the highest in over 45 years. For his efforts, Marion was named one of five finalists for the FootballScoop Offensive Coordinator of the Year award.
Since taking the helm at Sacramento State, Marion has been active in recruiting, securing commitments from several FBS transfers, including former UNLV players linebacker Brennon Scott and wide receiver Tim Conerly. He has also been engaging with the community and fans, emphasizing his commitment to building a nationally recognized football program at Sacramento State.
Marion's coaching journey includes positions at Texas, Pittsburgh, Hawai'i, William & Mary, Howard, Oklahoma Baptist, and Arizona State. His diverse experience and offensive acumen have made him a rising star in the coaching world.
Before transitioning to coaching, Marion had a successful playing career as a wide receiver at the University of Tulsa, where he showcased the skills and football IQ that would later inform his coaching philosophy.
