A recent report indicates that electricians have a low automation risk (14%) and are in high demand, with over 80,000 new positions expected nationally through 2026. This is driven by the need to support aging infrastructure, EV charging networks, and the energy transition, including the construction and maintenance of AI data centers.
Level Automation successfully migrated from the Simatic S7-1200 to the new generation Simatic S7-1200 G2 control system, a move that makes them "NIS2 ready" for cybersecurity requirements. The migration process was reportedly very fast and easy.
