Chariho Career and Technical Center's Electrical Technology class visited ProSystems Integration, an automation company in Westerly, to give students a look at career opportunities in the industrial side of the field. The students were given a tour of the facility by owner John Brunelle and his son Jesse, an engineer at the company and a Chariho alumnus. The Brunelles explained that the industry is heavily driven by customer demand, with a wide variety of systems designed for different applications, from medical tubing to automated systems for companies such as Hershey Chocolate and Krispy Kreme.

The migration, which was expected to be a time-consuming process, was completed in just two minutes thanks to a new migration tool in the TIA Portal.
